100+ Places to Promote Christian Books

places to promote Christian books
In this post I share over 100 places to promote Christian books in response to this question I received:

Hi Shelley, thank you so much in advance for your advice. I just published a new devotional/motivation book for Christian entrepreneurs. I was wondering if you had any recommendations as the best place to market my book. I had good success with gospelebooks.net.

Do you know of any other similar sites? Thank you again for your help.

The majority of my books are Christian nonfiction books and so I have done a lot of research on this topic.  Here are a few resources to consider.

Where to Get Started

These are resources I have personally researched and compiled for our own book marketing efforts over the years and now want to share these resources with you.

Do NOT feel like you have to list your book in each and every place we list within this post, but choose a few to start with and then add your book to other places as you have time. Trying to take advantage of each and every opportunity at once will only serve to overwhelm you, so I highly recommend pacing yourself and choosing the ones that you think will work best for you and your book.

  1. I advertised here for a fair price for 3 months, and I’m not saying I would not do it again, but I’ve not seen a jump in sales. The book I advertised with them has sold 2 copies this month and had 534 pages read so far and it’s the 21st and the add has been up for 3 weeks or maybe a little longer. I will try the banner add next time before I give up because their prices are fair. But I don’t think I’m going to make my money back.

  2. Thank you so much for your time and effort & for sharing your findings. I have 2 inspirational romantic suspense novels set in Brownsville, Texas on the Texas/Mexican border

  3. Great list. I appreciate the effort you took to compile this list and Blessings to you for sharing. As most authors well know, the easiest part is writing while the hardest part is marketing (at least it is for me).
    Thanks again.

  4. Hi Shelley
My nonfiction book (my first book) was published in May 2016. It has a website (www.TormentsToMiracles.com) and I started a Facebook group (same name) last week. I’ve looked over your list of ideas and would like to try some, however, my book is still waiting for its e-book version to be produced. It appears that a lot of those URL addresses you share are dealing with ‘kindle’. I recently asked my publishers on the progress of my e-book and they tell me it’s in the works.
I do some promotions at churches, talks, book signings booths etc. and have had highs and lows.
Any suggestions or should I just be patient about my e-book. Is an e-book all that important?
    Kindest regards
    Jim

  5. Wow thank you so much Shelley for your diligence on this research.

I have written and planning to launch my 7 Books on the same day (2 months from now.) I think your list is what I need. (Please feel free to give an opinion on launching my 7 books on the same day – pros and cons)

  6. As someone who is always looking for an uplifiting book to go along with my Christian worship, thank you for these places! It’s good to know that there are so many resources like blogs and websites to help promote good Christian books to read. I will have to check them out and see what books I can find and help promote within the Christian community.

  7. Hi Shelly,

Riley Geddings here, founder of GoodEbooks.net.

Thank you for posting us on your great site ! It is much appreciated.

We actually have 8 areas for free book/ebook promotions as well as low-budget ads to
Amazon USA, UK, CA, and B&N.

    This site is awsome !

    Thanks,
    Riley G.

  8. I am trying to get the word out about my book it is called fish hook. It is a biography about my dad told through my eyes growing up. Through wild, true stories he teaches me about: God, honesty, giving and leaving a Christian legacy. Please check it out and share about it. It is available on Amazon. Search Fish hook josephsen. Thanks

  9. Thanks Shelly for this very informative list! it is just what I was needing. I have just published my first book – Simple Prayer in ebook – print coming soon. It is such a huge learning curve and being in the Christian Non Fiction market it is hard to find helpful advice for my niche. I really appreciated your time to put this article together!

  10. Hi Shelley,
Thank you so much for your helpful list! Your effort and support is greatly appreciated! I thought it worth while to mention that some organizations only accept authors who identify with a specific denomination. For example, Gospelebooks only accept titles from authors who identify themselves as Protestant, regardless of the content of their book. I totally respect their right to form their own advertising policies, I would just hate to see other authors disappointed if they don’t now this, I feel it’s better for authors to be informed of this up-front. Meanwhile, I have a deep admiration for all Christian writers from any denomination, for their role in trying to make the world a better place. Blessings

  11. Oh my! What an awesome list and a wealth of knowledge! Thank you for taking the time to do all the footwork (or keystroke work) and compile the list! I can’t wait to dive into them.
